What week is camp this year?
Sunday August 16th through Saturday August 22nd.

How much does it cost for a camper?
The cost is $305 per camper if registered before June 26th, 2009. After that date the price is $315 per camper.

Is there a way to sponsor a camper or counselor?
Yes! If you have one in mind or wish to be generous to a stranger, send your donated amount to our mailing address with a note that your gift is a donation.

How old do you have to be to go to camp?
A camper must be between the ages of 9 and 18 or have completed grades 3 through 12 to attend camp.

Who is in charge of Cascade Friends Camp?
There is a board of directors that is made up of volunteers who are responsible for the Cascade Friends Camp. For more information about them, click on CONTACTS on the home page.

So what do campers do all day at camp?
Lots of fun things! The campers daily schedule is located on the forms page.

What type of food is there at camp?
The YMCA staff provides snacks and three tasty and wholesome meals a day. And, of course, there's always the canteen.

What is the canteen?
The canteen is a camp-run snack shop that is open between meals and during breaks. A camper can submit money at the beginning of camp (or send it in with registration) and be able to use that money during the week to purchase snacks on their account. Unused money is, of course, returned when a camper is signed out of camp at the end of the week.

Does a camper have to buy a t-shirt?
No. A camper does not need to purchase a t-shirt. But it is a stylish way to have a piece of camp memorabilia!

What if a camper has medication?
A nurse is on staff at all times. Medication MUST be submitted to the nurse upon a camper's arrival at camp. It is unavailable to other campers.

When does a camper need to register by?
To guarantee your campers place at camp, we recommend that you register by May 8th, 2009, and include at least a $50 deposit. The discount deadline date for the $305 registration fee is June 26th, 2009, while the final registration deadline is July 24th, 2009, and all forms and fees must be submitted by that final date.
